This page is now replaced by the new website for online access to Jacques-Louis Lions Laboratory software at http://titi.ann.jussieu.fr. If your browser supports it, you will be redirected there shortly.
"FreeFEM on the Web" is an easy way to run the FreeFEM family of scientific software tools (including FreeFEM++ and FreeFEM3D). It only requires a web browser and a connection to the internet.
Modern scientific computations usually require a complex computing environment just to install the necessary software and post-processing tools. FFW provides access to a pre-installed environment on a Debian GNU/Linux cluster located at the University of Paris 6, J.L. Lions Laboratory.
Another aspect of FFW is that one can use it as a FreeFEM tutorial.
Resources for every program are limited in terms of CPU time and memory space. But small projects (including the example projects below) can be run safely. Please do not hesitate to contact us in case you run into one of these limits.
